I don't think most people are upset about being informed that the official dom funds are not being allocated to mercs, it's that Ice apparently thought they had the slightest authority and/or standing to "politely request" or "humbly ask" other flights to shut down their threads if only they got Nature's go-ahead. That's what smells about this whole business. If they hadn't done that, hardly anyone would've cared.
