tbh part of it is that when they cycle in they cycle in for such a short time. This is what, 6 days? For items that have been gone for months and months?
I don't understand their system of cycling. If it was more predictable people wouldn't be scrambling to buy gems at such high ratios so they can catch these things before they're cycled out again.
If they want to have a cycling system it really should be consistent, so people aren't sitting on their hands waiting for things for months (or years).
