Sorry but i don't buy that. I occasionally use FR on mobile, on a browser where i don't have the ads blocked. If it's done by search history, how come i'll get ads for tax software, and cars, and hotels, and other such things i've never searched before?? Especially on my phone, lmao. If it were based on that i'd see ads for.......mainly video games and video game guides or books. =P
