Oh... I don't know if that thread merits a spot in the wanker thread, but I just had this person do an annoying thing to me that might justify it so I guess I'll share.
I'm doing a giveaway for Mistral, and it's in the form of an RP. Just a really casual thing, it seems to be going well so far. I made a post where a dragon does some swordplay. It's fairly silly, in fact it's based on the game Fruit Ninja, so it's not meant to be realistic at all, and I thought it was fairly obvious. This is just a casual thing, after all.
Well, this person seems to disagree, or they're a huge nerd about swords and unrealistic sword fights are their pet peeve, or idk but they made an RP post where their character criticizes the performance, complete with more than one YouTube link where some guy discusses why swordfights in movies are unrealistic.
I'm not really sure what to make of it. They might feel like they were being helpful or informative, but it didn't come off that way. It felt passive-aggressive and just... weird. I'm annoyed and I feel like I'm being called out for this silly casual thing. I've been debating asking them to not harsh the vibe of the game like that, but maybe I'm overreacting? Should I just let it go and say nothing?
