yeah, it's like that! breeding for a specific combo is also a big time and resource investment, and the dragon you get is special, even if later on it's something you could just buy on the AH. I'm never getting rid of the couple of dragons I got at the end of a long breeding project. =D

the first gen thing only really starts to make sense when you can afford it. like, first gens and first gen collectors made no sense to me either for the longest time. ....then I opened an accent shop and started making millions and millions of treasure a week and it was like, oh. now I get it.
