Lair cleaning tutorial

For some of us, lair cleaning is hard.
So I did a small tutorial that worked for me. (It may not work for you, but at least give it a try?)

Step 1

First, choose your ideal number of dragons you'd like to have. Write it down. Whenever in doubt, look at the number.
Okay? Okay. Now...
Forget about your color-coded lair. It's time to get messy.

Let's arrange some dragons!
Go through your pages and mess everything up. To the left, to the right. To the left to the left, everything you own in your box to the left...
Don't think about it, try to be as random as possible.

Step 2

Now that your lair is all fucked up, it's time to play The Bachelor(ette).
Choose 5 best dragons from each page. ONLY 5. Move them to the front of your lair.
Repeat the process until your first page is filled with your bestest dergs evar!!!11

Step 3

Go to page 2. Here, you can see a bunch of lovely dragons. Dragons that didn't quite make it to the first page.
The second best.
Now comes the hard part...
Choose 5 dragons you're gonna give away, sell or exalt. "But what about page 3? Can't I just exalt dragons from page 3 instead of page 2?"
NO. See here's the thing; once you rip out a piece of your soul by getting rid of a dragon you love, getting rid of the "lesser" dragons will be so much easier.
That said, I recommend going through your page 1 and page 2 dragons once more. Are your dragon elite where they are because of how they look, or because you're sentimental about them?

Your first page should be filled with dragons you can't wait to show others. Not the ones that make you think "hmm, maybe people won't like this dragon as much as I do?". (I'm not saying you should care about what other people think about your lair. I'm saying you should be 100% confident about your dragons, so when someone insults them, you can just laugh it off because they're wrong and you have impeccable taste.)
If it's down to sentimentality... I suggest you lump all your sentimental dragons on one page, then eliminate a good portion of them one by one.

Step 4

Go through the remaining pages.

Repeat steps 2, 3 and 4 until you've got the ideal number of dragons left. You can stop when there's no more tears to cry / you feel numb.

Step 5

Clean up your mess. Time to arrange your dragons. Your color-wheel may not be a possibility anymore, but that's okay, because you just cleaned your lair. LIKE A BOSS.
