Just kidding! Since the attitude in the comm has chilled out a little, I'd like to try another post without a Wanker Thread to see how it goes. The Wanker Thread is still present on the comm, but hidden to you (for now) and will be brought back if any big drama occurs that people feel should be contained. You can still make complaints about things that annoy you on Flight Rising, but let's try and keep the vitriol at a minimum.

i have been trying to sell these two gen one ladies for quite a while with no luck... i feel like i might have been pricing them too high, so i'd love to get some opinions on what you think they're worth. both are old colors and unbred, fully gened

How much have you been pricing them for? Have you tried pinging the collectors and being open to accepting items and not just pure?

1500 gems for the SD and 2000 gems for the pearlcatcher. haven't pinged collectors, didn't know there were any for non-special (old, doubles/triples, etc.) gen 1s. i did try accepting items but no bites D:

For some reason gened G1's just don't sell for much. I guess it's because the project already feels complete and there won't be the emotional connection you get from working for genes etc?

I've been trying to offload some older dragons that I'm sentimental towards but not enough to keep. Most of 'em are low to mid 7 digits, triple gened but bred to death, the usual.

I've been putting them up at about 50k-30k on the AH as I've seen similar at that pricepoint but been getting no bites. Any advice?

If there are any under 4 million, did you ping the ODCA to a sales thread? I rarely look on the AH, but sometimes I will see one in a thread I am pinged to, and they just resonate with me for some reason and I impulse buy.

I didn't bother because only one of them is sub-4mil. I also hadn't made a sales thread yet - between work & other obligations I wouldn't have had the time to uh, nurture it? But I might now since it's been a bit & I'm not doing anything tomorrow.

how much do you think triples are worth now with the color expansion? old colors and new.

A lot, but color plays a factor on how rich you'll be selling it

Odd colors, Sunshine/Tomato/Violet, but I gened from scratch to make them work. Thinking of selling, but not sure if she's worth anything. Both parents are Gen1 Imperials.

I'd be interested in buying! Did you have a price in mind?

Considering I bought her for around 500gems, then slapped Iri/Shim/Smoke on her, getting my money back would be great? Not sure if that's totally unreasonable or if Gen2 Imps are starting to be worth something.

Could I offer you the 500g you paid for her?

She isn't old (not even 7 digit), her colors aren't good, and it will likely be pretty easy to get second gen imps for awhile yet (and not too many are looking for them unless they are also old). I think it will be a long while if ever before she is worth the 4k gems you are asking for. You could get lucky maybe though.
