I remember reading spec about a new Shadow venue a while back, but I don't know if it was based on anything concrete. This announcement lends it some legitimacy, though!
I wonder what level it will be. Part of me hopes its as easy to grind in as the Arena (because if I grind this festival in the arena I fear for my own sanity)
If there's a new venue, it'll probably be level 23, so between the Roost and the Mire. That's been the pattern of the other new venues; the Mire is the last high level venue that has two levels.
Oh okay - that does make sense! I wonder if this will affect the mire and the two fodder build at all. I primarily farm coli in the mire (the beds intimidate me) unless im doing frstival grinding, in which case I go to the Arena. I'm excited to see if this changes anything, though!
ayrt I'm scared it will be followed by a buff for the Mire monsters, but I'm still excited by the idea of a lvl23 venue--I love new venues, even though losing the mire flyer would complicate my FR-life quite a bit.
If we get a level 23 venue, the Mire will definitely be buffed. Just look at the Roost. I'm really not looking forward to that, as I like the Mire Flyer build a lot. Not just because it is faster, but because it adds a bit more strategy to the endless grind.
If they're doing a new venue I wonder if some of the new marketplace-exclusive familiars from the coloring contest will end up being enemies. They did something similar where the budwing morpho/petal jumper before.
