i feel like they're waiting to release a new breed until the new tool gene templates (at least, all the templates for the new breed) are finished because colouring all the genes for an entire new breed would be incredibly time consuming without that tool
I hadn't thought about that but now I really hope that's the case. The thought of the inefficiency of making a new breed before the tool is finished makes my skin crawl ugh.
