I'm pretty sad about Love at First Kite right now. We decided to push and announced it weeks ahead of time, many people in the flight have been wearing the buttons in their sig for at least a week, and now we're just... going to give up on the whole thing because Light "needs to make back their money" and earth "wants to profit push"? Not that I blame the person I saw saying we couldn't beat them anyway, because that's probably true. I really love the community in my flight, but it's sort of demoralizing how fast people seemed to give up - and how there's not much of a choice with those other two pushing for 2/3 either.

It's Wind's annual dominance push over Valentine's Day week. We call our fodder "kites" because we level them and watch them soar. We were going to go for second because of Shadow, and we have gorgeous art for its banners and everything, but it just sort of... fizzled? It was going strong until mid-Sunday of the first day. Idk why exactly, but I know the dom thread shows people being disillusioned that we'll even get third with Light and Earth pushing. (I see below that they're not pushing, but that's what I read earlier!)

Dammmnnn, as I visited the Dom Watch thread, I just realized you guys have an art for fodder thread up. When I get over my coli sickness, I might drop in.

Tell your flightmates to keep on pushing hard. I'm certain you guys can get 3rd. 2nd might be hard if Earth gets competitive, but 3rd should be very doable.

Light isn't seriously pushing though, I don't think? It's just them trying to make money in the coli. And if they can make money in the coli, so can Wind. No need to give up!

We aren't even doing anything organized, it is just people doing their own thing. Wind could easily pass us through just being more numbers and doing something organized.

I've been sending the dragons I level to Shadow. It's funny we were second/third, but I can see that ruining spirits.

No official/organized push from Earth either. We have an in-flight coli challenge which might have encouraged people to train alongside grinding, but that's all. There's just been a lot of people impromptu profiting recently.

Just to add: I feel a bit bad that we're raining on Wind's parade though. I haven't exalted any, but I also didn't know there was something planned (I only usually following Dom Watch for conquest battles). Good luck with placing!

As other nonnies have said, it's not that hard to pass Light if you put together an organized effort. We aren't profit-pushing and we're suffering from dom fatigue (both the game mechanic and physical/mental fatigue I am sure). I'm confident that if you guys do some organized blitzing for a few hours, it'll pay off. Please tell your Windy friends not to give up!

Are you guys planning a conquest soon by any chance? Just wondering since you've been profit-pushing a lot over the past few weeks.

Gotta disagree, anon. The pushes I took part in were always organized. There are teams and the Air Market and all sorts of little programs.

nayrt but i would say lack of interest? wind is still a fairly large flight but our dom team has been making serious efforts in the last few months to organize our efforts and try to get people involved

Wind surprised me both in Battle of the Bay 2 and Battle of the First Four 2, so I can definitely believe it!

Lack of interest. I switched from a dom-heavy flight and the difference kind of astounded me. It feels like barely anyone who isn't on a team does anything for dom.

you have one saying to profit push and aim for 2nd

then you have another saying we're only doing a ~gentle~ push, and to not worry about placing at all. that we should send dragons to shadow instead of exalting ourselves.

yeah same tbh. and it doesn't help that the person saying we should just give up on 2nd and 3rd, and just focus on making money is a dom organizer. or at least heavily involved in organizing previous dom events.

You'd probably have to sell fodder at around average exalt price though as they are profit pushing.
