I don't like being that guy-

but it's more of that obvious copypasta crap! If it turns out I'm wrong and there's different poses for it, then I'm that guy, but given the trend I'm pretty sure I'll be right on this one.

I might be acting like a disgruntled old man on this one but all the poorly cropped copypasta apparel being sent out for flight holidays is getting really tiring. Ignoring that though, it's just meh. It looks a bit weird against the rest of the site art IMO, but whatever, it is cute.

The skins are excellent though, so I'll be spending my money on those instead.

I think the gustborne balloons had that criticism
I didn't think they needed to be different for different breeds and I think the same with this. the trail interacts with the dragons differently and I dont think the actual creature needs different poses.

what is that cartoony ass anatomy? it looks all chibi and doesn't fit the site style at ALL

i really like the smoke wisp part though. why couldn't it have been a real firefly and not some bootleg glowing ass eevee?

mmmm looking through my bestiary and not really? i guess it's kinda similar to sprites but WAY less detail and the sprites have cartoonishly small hands and feet instead of cartoonishly big. there's no detail on the apparel thing either, if it were a familiar i don't think it'd pass without more detail

also the head is turned back in a really awkward way, and the wings feel like they reeeeally need like a tiny bit of patterning or something. it just looks.... not up to snuff with most of the site art, especially lately.

*nod* that makes sense. I guess I was thinking of the more whispy stuff as well as the sprites, but I probably have an image in my mind of the sprites that's a bit more chibi than they really are.. I dunno that I've taken a good look at them for a while!
