I hear everyone saying this, but I do not believe it. I've never had a boss drop, no matter how long I spend in the coli. RNG does not like me.

I get so many! I've gotten at least five or six of those crystal pools turtles. I spend a lot of time in there, though, and I get through each battle quickly (three attackers with the 129 str build), so it's probably partly a volume of battles thing. And of course RNG is random!
