First ping I looked at your auction and wasn't interested. Second ping I just sighed and ignored it only slightly miffed since I saw others users asking why you pinged again. Third time- okay I'm annoyed, I'd have said something by now if I was interested and wanted to be pinged again so stop. You have now been blocked.

Isn't it common knowledge to ping just once?

UGH. SO MUCH THIS. I'm so tired of being pinged back to auctions I have already seen, the dragons with art and ODCA ping lists seem to be rampant right now with people who don't think they are getting enough attention or something.

I actually had to block someone who was pinging the dragons with art pinglist the other day - I was getting a ping almost daily to their art sales thread, where none of the dragons were selling but they kept adding more (and they were always mostly naked so not really something I wanted to see on a daily basis). I feel like there should be (or maybe there is?) a rule like "for dragons with art shops, only ping once every x amount of days. make a personal pinglist if people ask to be on it and ping them whenever you add a new dragon".

celadon (i think that's how it's spelled) by any chance I had to block them to keep them from pinging me for all these dragons with art that refused to sell?

I've added a rule to the pinglist thread and added a sheet with the rules to the document itself. Hope that helps solve a few of the problems people have been having.
