I once played a dog game where once you were inactive for X amount of time your dogs could be "rescued" by random other people. Dogs that you probably put real money and lots of time into breeding to be good at specific things in the game.
I rarely saw anyone come back from haitus there. At least on FR if you go off and forget about/have things come up/get bored you can always come back and start again where you left off.
god, that sounds terrible. way to discourage returning players who could potentially have become paying customers again.
i took a break from fr and i would have been pissed if all my shit had been gone when i returned. just because i stop playing a game for now doesn't necessarily mean i'll never want to come back to it.
