Whenever someone's internet argument is "you're just jealous" I kind of have to dismiss the argument. If you can't think of another reason people might dislike gem resellers that's fine, but I don't think it all boils down to people being jealous of them.
There are other reasons not to like them, you know. I don't use them very often because I have had some bad dealings with shady ones in the past and I don't feel comfortable trying again until Crossroads 2.0 comes out. I know that not all of them are scammers, and that a lot of them are good players who are honest and trustworthy, but once you've been burned it can be hard to put that kind of trust in any of them.
I think it's more a case of "I don't like resellers who do _____" and painting all of them with that broad brush the way people tend to do with flights more than people being jealous of them. With that logic you might as well say a lot of the anger directed at shady accent artists is because people are jealous of them, ignoring all of the other reasons people don't like them.
