Ah, thank you for the explanation - I think I have a better understanding now of what you meant. At first I took "claim" to be more about doubting, but now if I understand you right I think you mean the act of the claim, regardless of true or false, was problematic. And yeah, while I am definitely about people being able to express problems they are having, I do understand that at times it can be a derailment.
