pffft like every single flight wasn't making money off plague and light. arcane's prices were higher than ice's, but people still want to accuse ice of price gouging. if plague and light didn't want to go broke they could have decided not to buy from mercs

No one said that Light or Plague weren't willing to go broke for dom. But if Ice thinks that other flights shouldn't make money off dom battles, then why were they okay running Valkyries during LvP? Shouldn't they have been sending dragons to the raffle or offering them as charity? Shouldn't they have been losing money with the battling flights?
It's hypocritical is what AYRT is pointing out. Ice thinks it's ok for them to profit off dom battles, but no one is going to profit off Ice's battles. Of course Ice is willing to make their own decisions, but they shouldn't be surprised when they're called out on it either.
It is also worth pointing out that Valkyries was created by the Ice dom team SPECIFICALLY for that push. Prior to LvP, Ice had something called Snowcone Sales which was ran by someone else and got very little use.
The Ice dom team literally came in, made the flight's merc thread for one specific push, took in massive amounts of treasure... and now they are pulling this?
you're conveniently ignoring that ice bellyached hardcore when mercs were introduced and have regularly salted about it since then
when you combine THAT with their new-and-improved merc thread for LvP, the massive amounts of $$$ they took in during that (which they were entitled to do) right before they're battle with nature
and THAT with the bellyaching they're doing now. that's the problem.
no one would have given a fuck if water/fire had decided not to use merc threads. it has EVERYTHING to do with ice's flipflopping whenever it suits them and trying to frame it as 'keeping dom accessible' (l o l)
