Just got back from traveling. At that somewhere, roomie found an adult female bed bug on the ceiling in the middle of the night. Squished it flat, checked the remainder of the unit. Didn't find any other indications of bed bugs, haven't been bitten yet (I don't think), and I think it's really just a wandering bed bug from another unit in the building we were staying in, but I'm so worried that when I got home, I bagged all my luggage and washables. But when I tried to go down to wash them, I found that some FUCKING JERK IN THE BUILDING literally turned three of the machines upside down and knocked the last one over in addition to ripping out some of the wires and pipes from the wall.

Now I've got all my bags sitting outside on the front balcony we've got, sunning themselves in the sun. I don't even have any shoes left to wear, because they're all in the bags. Ugh.

where do you live that this happens

Not quite a "college town," but a neighborhood with a college campus smack dab in the middle. That said, this is unusual. I'm still not even sure drunken frat boys would do something like this.

Never underestimate the kind of weird shit drunk frat boys can be dared into doing. Especially if there's someone/someones they want to impress.
