because it's not right and it's kind of a scam. That's why I would care.

So what if they don't care, that makes it okay? Guess so! *sarcasm*

They're upfront about what you get. I wouldn't buy it myself, but there's nothing scammy about it.

I don't really see it as a scam. People see the headshots and yes, they're in the same poses as the flight rising set art. Some people love that, hell a lot of people like it seeing how many times they've been asked to do the art for them.

They're a great artist, checking them out I found their 'art den' art shop:
http://www1.flightrising.com/forums/art/1357727/1

They even do animations which is pretty rare on FR. So they are capable of doing really amazing artwork. They're doing the busts I bet because they're small and easy to do. They do the apparel and yes you can say they trace that but the accents are more difficult to trace even off of the same dragon bust.

I guess I am curious why people jumped on them so much that an admin actually had to come in and 'clean out' two pages of comments. Let people enjoy what they do.

I'm wondering if people are caring so much about this particular person because they run their flight's foddart? That's the only thing that comes to mind

"it's kind of a scam."

Nope. Not even close.

It's not a scam because a) staff said it's fine to use official site art in this fashion and b) I think anyone who decides to buy it, aside from very very fresh players, is gonna see it's pixellated versions of site art and they're okay with that. Even if it isn't clear to someone, it doesn't at all change the art they receive. They know exactly what they're getting when they order it and the artist is fulfilling those orders.

Lay off.
