Is it rude/a social faux pas to privately contact the winners of a limited skin to tell them you'd like to buy it if they ever decide to sell at some point in the future? I wouldn't tell them this part out of fear of guilt tripping (I don't want to do that!), but there was a limited accent run for a unique accent that very strongly reminded me of a friend of mine who died and unfortunately I didn't manage to get a copy and it's retired now.
I'm almost tempted to risk asking them even if it WOULD be rude, and offer to pay several times what they paid for it or just to be notified if they ever want to sell. I'm not into the accent collecting scene and don't know if that's the kind of thing that would get me dragged, though.
