The dragons they have up for offers regularly sell for more than 3x what being offered so there is a market for them. Two 6 digit gen ones were auctioned last week and sold for 9kg and 10kg. Get outta here with your βthe customer is always rightβ attitude.
I don't have any gems :( besides which there's the bigger issue that there seem to be a fair number of familiars that should stock in the MP but don't. I might check the bug report forum and see if there are any topics about it.
I do remember them harassing a friend who was selling off their (really nice) 5 and 6 digit collection a couple months back. My friend watched the AH trends for both digit-specific markets, and came upon prices that reflected a mean AH value, and perhaps only slightly inflated, for the traits their dragons possessed (colors, generation, digits, date hatched).
Being ended up making an offer a third less or half as much of what my friend asked for, via a PM. When my friend refused to take that offer and asked again for a deal around the AH price, Being wrote at least one passive (or outwardly) aggressive PM reply condemning my friend for 'selling too high'.
The note was mean-spirited enough that my friend considered blocking them, but fortunately Being made no further inquiries.
So yes, I now believe they serially lowball in reading this, and I hope that this has also not come with the poor conduct my friend and I observed.
I've held a dislike for Being (formerly BeingofNature) for a long while now (personal grudge, really, so I won't be sharing deets as it would deanon me)but... it wouldn't be the first time they've been pointed out for lowballing on valuable things:
That's funny because in this thread where they're trying to buy oldies with art, they value 5 digits at higher than that: http://www1.flightrising.com/forums/drw/2346862
"Dragon : Gems Ratios: Please note these are baseline prices that I adhere to the IDs only. A dragon's value will go up based on other attributes that we can discuss when making a deal.
6 digit dragons = 300 gems 5 digit dragons = 5k gems 4 digit dragons = 35k gems 3 digit dragons = 100k gems Anything lower and I'll give you my first born child."
...maybe I'm missing something. Why does breed matter in this instance? Because I don't think there are any differences if you've tinctured. Like, at all. Element matters, not breed.
That being said, yeah, I tried to fight a Wartoad yesterday with my Mire Flier (Arcane SD) and that did not go well, lol.
Re: the real reason I don't use 2-fodder builds: a short story by nonnie
da, but breed matters because of feeding order, and dragons lose energy when they lose in the coli (if their energy goes under 20/50, they get kicked out and have to eat before they can fight again).
Coatls eat last out of the seafood breeds. If you have a coatl coli dragon, you have to feed ALL of your ridgebacks, snappers, imperials, and mirrors before the poor thing gets to eat anything at all. If you were trying to not feed your lair's fodder... well, too bad for you.
I'm okay really. One way or another I'll get it eventually!
The main thing that's bothering me is how, after thinking about this dream, I think there are a lot of familiars that should stock in the treasure MP just don't seem to be there. Just like in my dream, I've never seen the Coral Carpenter stock. Or a Bumble, Greenwing Razorclaw, Raptorik Bladedancer, Raptorik Ringmaster, Stormclaw Showman... somebody jump in and let me know if they've seen any of those, but I feel like my dream was on to something. It seems quite possible that some familiars were never added to the MP.
My feeling on it is that if there can be treasure MP exclusive familiars, it's completely fair to also have Coli exclusive familiars. Especially since, as far as I'm aware, all the non-boss coli familiars have a chance of spawning from chests like the treasure MP familiars do.
Well, at least you can successfully fight a frog with a Flyer in Coli 2.0-- IF you're near full health/breath with the Flyer AND full/near-full health with the fodder and they're six or seven or have had some points chucked into vitality. (Or if you get lucky and crit one of your first Elims.) It's still not a surefire thing, since the frog can get lucky too, or focus-fire on the Flyer. Still, it surprises me how much of a difference that extra turn makes; I used to sometimes try it back in the day and that just resulted in a lot of squished Flyer.
Yeah, but the thing is the devs seem to think these things are stocking. There's a difference between a deliberate choice and a bug you just don't know about, and it wouldn't be the first time the site has had the latter and the devs have been determined to be blind about it. *coughGatheringcoughcough*
Where have they said they would all also stock in the MP? I just looked at the most recent coli enemy additions (waterway & arena) and there's no mention that any or all of them would stock in the MP.
Re: the real reason I don't use 2-fodder builds: a short story by nonnie
And yet, some of them do stock in the MP, so clearly at least some of them are meant to. Your analysis of the problem is therefore that the admins are failing to tell us which they have decided to put in the MP and which are coli exclusive, correct?
I'm reminded of the copper boots that were supposed to drop from the Workshop, but didn't for like a year. It's hard to prove, from the player's end, that something isn't actually in the loot table, but after a while you begin to notice that something is off.
