i'm curious to see who "wins" this as well. its extremely interesting they would make the sale public? i wonder if its a coincidence or if the admin can actually action on this
Nope. AS ANONFORUMS GO, AR still remains remarkably far from a cesspit, and continuing to argue does in fact prove you're completely inexperienced at the topic.
If notified, they should be able to see the gem amounts of both, before and after, and track the Boolean. I mean, the buyer will even gave an achievement date, probably.
If the winning amount of gems fails to change hands ... instaban on both.
But how do you notify the admins without admitting you are part of the black market website? It doesn't matter if you have done a black market trade or not, they might still ban you.
Aaand you're being part of the problem with the condescending "silly thing" comment. Good going for proving your own point as well and being part of the problem you mentioned 👏
But no seriously, if you have ever been on multiple other anoncomms, drama blogs, ect, then you'd really know. AR, again, is so far from a massive cesspit compared to other places I've been to. Not that there isn't toxic people here, but toxic people don't make a place a cesspit. In that case everything is, because theres incredibly toxic people everywhere outside of drama stores 😑
I mean I would love to report it, but the staff might to freaking petty enough to ban me because "omg you went to the BM site!?!?! Not on my watch!!". But, this is one of the rarest items and worth a bunch so I don't know if they'd be thankful you reported it too?? Its like what 8000$ or something?
DA The trouble with that is, it could be any rando looking to stir shit if it's a dummy email. The staff will want to hear about rule breaking, but they also want to make sure Contact Us isn't being abused to spam them with false reports and such.
Of course, I don't know if it would be a better idea to send one in with your legit email that says, "Hey I heard rumors that the Boolean is on the black market! I have no idea how to check that, but thought you might like to hear about it." It could be interpreted as rumor-mongering. It's a dicey situation all around.
link them to this thread? I've heard about the BM before but I don't browse there. This thread here is the only reason I even know about this whole thing
This conjured up a mental image of a store you can buy drama from. Everything is garishly colored, only one register is ever open, and people are getting in screaming matches in every aisle. More often than not, you arrive home and realize the drama you purchased is expired and gone stale.
I feel the same, I'd love to report it, but you can never tell how they will react. Oh, FR :( It's not like it's a pathetic forum thread that got out of hand. We are talking about a LOT of money here.
Perhaps that's a good choice. But will they take an anoncom seriously? There is a chance they'll see the url and ignore the report. Who knows, maybe we are just spreading BS because we are jealous! :P
So. I made this thread to discuss why it is so many users believe they picked their custom's tert, despite it never being a thing. It's an interesting phenomenon to look at.
However, Ridara did not seem impressed, and implied I am calling those people liars (hint, I'm really not).
I really did want to try my best to remain formal and polite in my responses. Getting mad doesn't get you anywhere, even if I can be easily shaken by these things. I'd like to think I didn't slip up and get snarky in my responses, aside from that last one which I know was a little heated.
Could I have handled that better? Honestly, I don't know how it could have gotten to the point that they decided it was ok to insult me, and I don't understand why they seem to be so upset over this, but it's 1 am and I'm slow.
(btw, our responses to each other are all on pages 1,2 and 5 thus far)
I'd rather not have to block them, if anything because I like keeping my block list small, but I don't know. I'm confused.
Pretty sure they've seen it already. I know a few mods already lurk here. It's why we have a stringent rule about no linking/mentioning the names of any BM sites.
(Also, yes, thank you guys for being civil and pretty damned chill in this thread ♥ )

(frozen comment) Re: Dear AR, tell me truthfully, did I cross a line?
Sorry, not even reading that thread. Please, please, please, for the love of god, stop beating up a dead horse. I know that I didn't pick my tert, although I feel like I did, but that's not the point. I'M SO TIRED of this argument.

I get that! But I was making a legitimate point which shows why it is this is occuring, the Mandela Effect. It's pretty much your brain making false memories, and often happens en masse. I'm tired of it to, which is why I wanted to finally find a way to prove it was never a thing.

They are either liars, or mistaken and too stubborn or daft to back down and admit they're wrong. We know this, we've known this since it's been a point of debate. We know it's not and never has been possible and that it was never programmed as an option so a bug is virtually impossible. It's a dead horse and Ridara's a tosser at the best of times. Walk away knowing you're right.
I just got an ad on FR about "Support Rick Saccone" as part of the "Committee to defend the President" and you know, FR, I've been totally sympathetic to "plz don't adblock us" for you over the years, even through the ads for the local evil insurance company, but this is where I draw the line. uBlock Origin no longer has you whitelisted.
