Tbh, I think it actually kind of depends.

Are you taking the concept and using it as a reference as you build it up from scratch again? Is there any part of it that is unique? Did you add your own creative flair? Is it for personal use? Are they giving credit?

Sometimes, it can be a good idea to practice your art skills by mimicking other users and seeing how close you come. It is how you grow as an artist.

But if she is blatantly taking the pdf files and submitting them as her own, then I agree. It is so very wrong. However, at the same time, I see people taking site items and retweaking them without criticism.

They don't, because they aren't in it for the profit. They are only in it for their own improvement and enjoyment. And with that said, admittedly, I haven't looked at this kid's blog, yet. The conversation just struck a chord.
