i transferred from my school in another state and like, the county here doesn't recognize the charter's credits so i'll have to retake everything over from sophomore year. we tried going to the district and getting transcripts from the other hschools but none of them are valid. it looks like i'm stuck here

its not all bad? the school gives scholarships to full sail and recognized on the college board or smth so its better in a way but damn i don't want to be held back two years and graduate at 18 for it. and i don't even know if i'll win the lottery fuck man this SUCKS

whaaaat the fuck? holy shit that sucks but also wtf??? like i thought the US had a standardized curriculum with like algebra 1/2 and geometry and then calc or whatever. don't all schools have to follow that?

this is super crazy to me because i moved to the US right before my sophomore year and they took ALL my credits, and my canadian curriculum was waaaay different. we didn't even *have* middle school so they ended up transferring one or two of my grade 8 classes, and our year was split into three rather than two semesters but they counted all my canadian classes as 1.5 america semesters. they did not give one fuck and i ended up with a bazillion credits.

i'm pretty sure my case was on the extreme opposite, but it seems absolutely ridiculous to hold a kid back over going to a school with a different curriculum/classes. honestly, i'd keep complaining and try to get higher and higher up in this new school's chain of command because something seems fucky here.
