But you aren't showing me those numbers. Show them to me. I agree that if women raping men was not included in those stats (although I was fairly sure that RAINN was for all victims and pretty good about that?) then they should be. And I'm also saying that even if the numbers of men being raped and women being raped are almost equal with the inclusion of the numbers, that doesn't mean that the number of women rapists equals the number of men rapists. It could be that 50 men are raped by men and 30 men are raped by women, while 90 women are raped by men and 10 women are raped by women. That would make 80 male victims and 100 female victims, so almost equal. However, that would still be 130 male rapists to 40 female rapists and both men and women should be warier of men.
"if tumblr's sitting there telling you that all men are rapists until proven otherwise and even when proven otherwise" But it isn't? It is saying that you don't know who the 10% of men (or whatever the percentage is) who rape are, so you should be wary of all men. Odds are that the guy in front of you is innocent and will always be innocent, but it's better to be wary and proven wrong than to trust blindly and be proven correct. How is it a bad thing to want to meet for a first date in a public place because a private place could be dangerous? How is it a bad thing to want to go out as a group at night because you could be raped and there is safety in numbers? It isn't saying that "OMG each man you meet is totally going to rape you!!!!!" it is saying that you can't separate the people who will rape from the people who will not by appearance alone, so be cautious.
Although you are the one arguing that if someone gets drunk it is totally their fault if someone else takes advantage of them, so I don't know why I expect you to be reasonable and logical.
