Let's say you go into a thread and are okay with the prices so you fill in a form for the thing you can afford, but when the artist replies the price is 6 times the price posted in their pricelist.
What's a polite way to say that it's too much? Like...I could afford it if it was 2x what the pricelist said, but this is a huge jump. :\ I wasn't looking for anything special, either. Just a black and white sketch of a dragon with no clothes.
just say 'thank you for pinging me, but when i filled out the form, the price was lower. i unfortunately can't afford the new price, so please give the slot to the next person on the waiting list'
I wish there was an optional stack mode with Baldwin.
Even with a efficiency penalty, it'd be nice not having to check on him so often! Say you list 6 items to melt down in the Cauldron and it takes 4 hours to be done instead of 3? I'd be cool with that.
would it be weird to message an accent artist to tell them how much i love their accent and show them the dragon i bred specifically to wear it? i bought the accent off the AH so the artist probably doesn't even know that i own it...
As an accent artist, I'd love and be so flattered by that! To know that someone liked my accent enough to breed a dragon specifically to wear it? Man, I don't know any higher honor there.
is there any way to salvage an abyss/rust/honeydew female? I bought her to wear a specific skin and as a mate for a future project dragon (abyss poison/red-range/honeydew contour fae male), but the artist decided not to print the skin after all b/c it kept getting rejected even after multiple revisions, and now I don't know what to do with her.
Hey guys, I accidentally bought an extra of Lightning Catcher (the snapper male skin) If anyone wants it, I'll sell it to you at dom discount price.(29750t) Hit me up at 49326 if you want it!
im lonely but i dont have the energy to talk to friends ever outside my besties so i just do a fuckload of "x dragon above you" threads for social interaction
I have a thread giving away free dragons to newbies. I totally don't care if these newbies exalt the dragons I give them because sometimes, you realise the dragon doesn't quite fit your lair. I get it.
But I had a traveling dragon on there as well and I very clearly stated several times in bold that she was a traveler and what that meant, had a link to the traveling thread, etc. I even placed her at the very bottom of the thread. A newbie requested her and I sent her over... and a couple hours later, when I checked on her, she's already exalted. Ok, maybe this person exalted her by accident. I check their lair and they only have two dragons there despite getting another dragon from another free for newbies thread. This other dragon is not in their lair either.
ngl, I'm unnecessarily bitter. And this traveling dragon wasn't even originally from my lair.
message them asking if they could contact the admins to un-exalt the dragon, explaining again the traveling dragon idea and especially that you were not its original owner
Constructive criticism? Point out the really great things they're doing and gently add what they could work on. You can also ask if they accept constructive criticism as you see potential in them and would like to help them improve?
