Just kidding! Since the attitude in the comm has chilled out a little, I'd like to try another post without a Wanker Thread to see how it goes. The Wanker Thread is still present on the comm, but hidden to you (for now) and will be brought back if any big drama occurs that people feel should be contained. You can still make complaints about things that annoy you on Flight Rising, but let's try and keep the vitriol at a minimum.

for those like me who are curious about the drama:

it's very lukewarm, mostly a couple people saying "who cares, I use it" while a lot of other people say "yeah, insults like this are gross" and a whole lot of people hopping around the swear filter (especially with the r word).

dracoon on p7 and demonically throughout the thread poked at the topic negatively. kassandra on p2 and p6 is all about peace and love and forgiveness, including a heavy dash of victim-blaming ("if you only ever stay passive, it's your own fault" // "You don't have to stay a target, unless you're too lazy / scared to become active." // "deep down, [bullies are] just very sad / frustrated / bitter people.").
