Just kidding! Since the attitude in the comm has chilled out a little, I'd like to try another post without a Wanker Thread to see how it goes. The Wanker Thread is still present on the comm, but hidden to you (for now) and will be brought back if any big drama occurs that people feel should be contained. You can still make complaints about things that annoy you on Flight Rising, but let's try and keep the vitriol at a minimum.

Ah okay, thanks! What do you have to do to be Rainbow Squad though? It seems a bit strange to me that they wouldn't want regular Plague people's input into Dom things but i guess it works for them. And i'm glad to see that there are leaderboards and friendly competition. The flight i'm in now sees that stuff as anathema to how Dom should be, and i originally come from a flight that is a lot like Plague in that regard, and i find myself really missing that aspect of it.

Hi, different plaguenonny here - you can sit in on Rainbow Squad meetings, I believe, by talking to one of the dom leaders. It's a temporary invite and lasts for the duration of that meeting, but you can still give your input/etc into what's going on without being on the RS.

From what I remember, getting onto the rainbow squad is an invite-based thing - basically, get involved in things or be helpful to plaguedom, get noticed, get invited kind of thing. I feel like with the temporary invites per meeting though, it's almost not necessary to be "on" the RS to participate in decisionmaking and such. There are public polls per push on theme, when we push, etc, and feedback is generally considered (from my perspective, not on the RS but just anecdotal evidence from reading through threads in the past)

All in all, I love my time in Plague and participating in dom. The incentives are great (awesome badges and nice competitions in-flight), and the community is amazing too.
