Just kidding! Since the attitude in the comm has chilled out a little, I'd like to try another post without a Wanker Thread to see how it goes. The Wanker Thread is still present on the comm, but hidden to you (for now) and will be brought back if any big drama occurs that people feel should be contained. You can still make complaints about things that annoy you on Flight Rising, but let's try and keep the vitriol at a minimum.

I've been trying to find enjoyment on FR like I used to. I can't find it anymore. It's boring and I feel really listless. I can level a 25 in a week, I get regular Egg drops that I sell and I have great Gen1's with gem genes and custom accents. I have gotten art and the game just feels really boring.

I like the community and the sites general art. I love the dragon breeds but I feel like I have done everything except get the KS items. There are no more challenges.

Is anyone else feeling like this? Like FR has gotten really stale? There is nothing new.

So does anyone have any other sites they play on or have any feelings to share?

If you do, can you post it here? I bored too. I've done all the project, gotten all the sprites. There just isn't a challenge in the game.

I need a new game or FR needs to kick it back up to where it should be.

take a hiatus and do something else

hiatus has been the best option for me. not just other pet sites, but other things in general. pick up a different style of game or hobby, not just another game. the other games can start to feel like a chore, too.

I'd recommend buy-to-play MMOs like Guild Wars 2 or Elder Scrolls Online. monthly fees can be draining and stressful, but these are fun and have a community. buy-to-play is also usually better quality than free.

you could also try new stuff with FR like roleplaying. create your own game that way, you know? there's no limit to it.

sylestia is the other more enjoyable pet site I have played. wajas was fun for a bit, but got boring. subeta is mostly minigames and is even less fun. mycena cave is good for RP but there's pretty much a hard cap on currency gains each day and literally everything over there is slow.

Yeah, I feel this way.

I think the "It's okay to get apparel and familiars as filler from the artists while we wait for new features to be coded" formula has gotten a little worn, at this stage.

We need a new feature, game, breed or something. I know they only have one or two coders, but does every revamped feature need to take 12 months or more from announcement to introduction?

Even this festival routine is dull now. Grinding is boring to the point of madness. That we have no reason to get doubles of stuff with their new non-retirement plan and that has killed a lot of interest, which doesn't help.

They could do with re-thinking how festivals go next year, because the old "1 Familiar, 1 Apparel, 1 Other Item, 12 skins and an Emblem, go Gather, Brew and Grind for a week" won't have any life breathed into it by the addition of a once-a-fest random-contents chest.

I tried other sites, but they're mostly older, and already boring.
