Just kidding! Since the attitude in the comm has chilled out a little, I'd like to try another post without a Wanker Thread to see how it goes. The Wanker Thread is still present on the comm, but hidden to you (for now) and will be brought back if any big drama occurs that people feel should be contained. You can still make complaints about things that annoy you on Flight Rising, but let's try and keep the vitriol at a minimum.

I'm pretty sure they're referring to the pixel headshots everyone on DR likes to whine about and the people who animate the dragon pictures with wing movements/breathing.

The way they're saying it comes across as indirectly talking shit about other people's work though.

stuff like what they're mentioning is shit on all the time here
and they're only trying to use it as a metric to say that what they're doing is allowed art wise? I mean they could have avoided "just" but seriously, since when do people here think that stuff is art that deserves no criticism?

I don't agree with it when it happens otherwise either, plus I'm kind of tired of people being salty over something that was settled ages ago as allowed by the IP owners.

I'm not seeing anyone say it deserves no criticism, just that people don't have to be assholes about it. Which is reasonable enough, tbh.
