Just kidding! Since the attitude in the comm has chilled out a little, I'd like to try another post without a Wanker Thread to see how it goes. The Wanker Thread is still present on the comm, but hidden to you (for now) and will be brought back if any big drama occurs that people feel should be contained. You can still make complaints about things that annoy you on Flight Rising, but let's try and keep the vitriol at a minimum.

yup, and the alpha isn't the only one. the adult (the one on the right) also looks nothing like any of the options in its poll: http://clanheart.tumblr.com/post/139904552221/adult-dragon-vote-here

Honestly, looks like whoever drafted those concepts didn't understand how base and colour templates work. Like, obviously users will choose the dynamic poses when given the option, but they don't realize that this won't let the artists show different colour patterns or apparel properly because so much of the sides of the torso are obscured. Which is why some 80% of the poses on FR are variants on profile-view-with-wing-extended.

Also, the heads and necks on all of those dragons look nothing like the concepts. Why even put up the vote if you don't have something so basic figured out.

Actually when given the choice the more static poses won. Most of the ones people liked were side on standing or sitting poses when they were given the chance to pick something like that.

Several times the three choices consisted of what we got for the dragons- dynamic poses that forced people to pick between the least egregious one, with many people in the comments of the vote stating they would prefer more standing/sitting poses and less jumping/flying/leaping/diving ones.
