Just kidding! Since the attitude in the comm has chilled out a little, I'd like to try another post without a Wanker Thread to see how it goes. The Wanker Thread is still present on the comm, but hidden to you (for now) and will be brought back if any big drama occurs that people feel should be contained. You can still make complaints about things that annoy you on Flight Rising, but let's try and keep the vitriol at a minimum.

Q & A updated.

"Will the updated AH warn us when we've clicked the wrong currency option on an item? I just sold a Gilded Chest for what I thought was 37 gems, and instead got 36 treasure..."

"We anticipated mis-postings when we first created the Auction House. To help prevent that, we wrote in an alert for a player to double check what they are posting on the Auction House before it lists.

"Before an item is put on the Auction House, there is a pop up screen. This screen asks the player to confirm they wish to sell the item for both the type of currency selected and total amount of the selected currency. We added an image (gems or treasure) in the confirmation screen to further reduce human error.

"Unfortunately, there isn't a way to program in what might be a "wrong" choice, because what a player chooses to list an item for is entirely up to them."

I was so annoyed to see this question. It's so dumb and a waste of the admins' time to have to explain the function of the confirmation screen to someone who wants their hand held.

What vexes me is I think there is a place where their popup system is borked: by having both a Confirm to Sell and a Yeah, You Vaulted That popup, I've periodically sold shit I was intending to Vault. And the later popup is completely pointless.
