Just kidding! Since the attitude in the comm has chilled out a little, I'd like to try another post without a Wanker Thread to see how it goes. The Wanker Thread is still present on the comm, but hidden to you (for now) and will be brought back if any big drama occurs that people feel should be contained. You can still make complaints about things that annoy you on Flight Rising, but let's try and keep the vitriol at a minimum.

i wouldn't be opposed to it being pretty expensive treasure wise though just so it can be a nice treasure sink.
i've brewed two of those new fancy imbued sulfer in anticipation though. don't let me down baldwin!

Yeah, I def don't mind it being pretty expensive treasure wise because we do need more treasure sinks. I'll just be super salty if there's something impossible to get that you have to throw in there to make it - like black swans, for example. I haven't gotten a single one of those fuckers in close to two weeks of hunting exclusively lol.

if they did that it would ruin its use as a treasure sink since barely anyone would be able to brew it, so i really hope theyre smarter than that lol. if anything, i think it should be like poison with a small amount of items that are easy to grind for in the coli. but i'd be happiest if it's baldwin items only because i'm lazy and grinding is no fun.

He still has his pearl, and as another non pointed out above the whiskers change was probably to make him look older, like the age/liver spots do.

And to brew a breed change scroll, you have to melt pearlcatchers, but it takes like a year for the brew to finish, hence Baldwin's own slow transformation

Im praying that's the case. Other than that I can imagine some other event.. him getting old and requiring another apprentice/assistant which will give us two cauldrons to use? Both of these are me being optimistic tho lolll

(the absence of whiskers completely is so odd though. everything else I can stock up to age being related but there's not even evidence they were /there/ like the case with the damaged horn.. you would think they'd be damaged to nubs instead of disappear)

Aaaahh. I want it to be true! I'm trying not to get my hopes up but I want a new breed so much. (And I can totally see Baldwin mutating himself. Like the comic book scientists who always test their new concoction on themselves, only with a new breed rather than superpowers. It'd be awesome.)

If they are releasing anew breed in such an amazingly subtle way I am so happy! The admins no how the fr user base analyzes everything all the time if this is a new breed it would be amazing.


On a side note due to the new login signup I think its afe to assume open reg sooner rather than later.
