Just kidding! Since the attitude in the comm has chilled out a little, I'd like to try another post without a Wanker Thread to see how it goes. The Wanker Thread is still present on the comm, but hidden to you (for now) and will be brought back if any big drama occurs that people feel should be contained. You can still make complaints about things that annoy you on Flight Rising, but let's try and keep the vitriol at a minimum.

What if they used to buy level 25s for their flight but now they skim money off off a program like sunburn. They just were tweaking the circumstances slightly to make themselves harder to identify? (Or skimming from a different dom program, but something other than 25s that is similar concept but not exactly the same so they can't be outed by their dom team?)

only if said flight has a sunburn (or other initiative) they dont pay close attention to. while they might be run via trust system, whoever is running it would have to be pretty oblivious to not inquire someone who's been sent a lot of fodder and didnt send a reasonable amount back. granted, there is room for small scams, like with most community projects that involve currency, but then this person would have to be doing it consistently, earning a small amount each time.

idk, but it they had that kind of time and energy, going the carnivore way would probably net them a lot more profit. or relying on art, if they actually can churn out adoptables that people love in such a short time.

tbh the more i think of it, the more i see decent ways to make money off the same ideas (ex. flipping 25s), the fact they're going out of their way to scam is kinda pitiful imo.

also (kinda going off on a tangent here) it paints artists in a super bad light, because making cool things fast only means someone put time and effort developing a skill and/or sense of style, which imo they still deserve to be paid for
