Just kidding! Since the attitude in the comm has chilled out a little, I'd like to try another post without a Wanker Thread to see how it goes. The Wanker Thread is still present on the comm, but hidden to you (for now) and will be brought back if any big drama occurs that people feel should be contained. You can still make complaints about things that annoy you on Flight Rising, but let's try and keep the vitriol at a minimum.

The staff should just remove threads asking to bring back KS stuff. They've already specifically said it will never happen, which makes suggestions about it tantamount to spam. And it's a stupid idea to boot, so nothing of value would be lost.

I am kind of surprised to see the first person to support the idea was none other than alleycat. After that thread on here I really thought they were going to try to change, or at least clear out of Suggestions.

I think the problem is, where to stop. They also said they don't plan to unretire the Sprites. They also said they won't use user suggested breeds (in the Q&A recently). So should they delete all those threads as well?

I think beside giving concrete suggestions, those threads also show some general concerns of some of the users.
Like:
- threads about bringing back KS and old festival stuff keep reappearing -> Maybe there shouldn't exist too many retired items. Let's try not retiring too many items by introducing Joxar's box.
- suggested water breeds with fins keep reappearing -> maybe the next breed should be a water breed

Also if you delete the really impossible ones, the other people might get their hopes up for their suggestions that aren't deleted even though those won't make it either just because the staff decides that they don't fit FR.

So it's better to not delete anything I think.

Breed suggestions are fine, the admins have said they may use some ideas that the user base like a lot, so they still have a purpose even though they do not get used directly. Threads about Sprites should get deleted though. Sprites and KS are over and done with, making suggestions to bring them back useless and spammy. Same goes for anything else that is already retired. People can make suggestions about retiring or unretiring future stuff and cite their feelings about Sprites and KS to back it up, it's not like all discussion of them should be banned. But "bring back retired stuff" is a settled issue. It's just spam.
