#47 - And now for something completely different (Part 2: Electric Boogaloo)

This is a Star Trek anon comm now. Make it so, nonnies.

Just kidding!
Since the attitude in the comm has chilled out a little, I'd like to try another post without a Wanker Thread to see how it goes. The Wanker Thread is still present on the comm, but hidden to you (for now) and will be brought back if any big drama occurs that people feel should be contained. You can still make complaints about things that annoy you on Flight Rising, but let's try and keep the vitriol at a minimum.

Oh, and welcome to
The 47 Society, AnonRising!

"rose-colored glasses days" doesn't include the word "shades" like the item is called so how the hell are we supposed to assume? I thought they were talking about whatever I was looking at, which happened to be earlier this year. when you use a really common phrase like that, you need to be a lot more specific if you want it to be a reference, because that puts a whole new meaning on it. with the common phrase, that would've meant "you're looking at some time period through rose-colored glasses." with the reference, it means "you're looking at 2013-2014 imp market."

when someone uses a common phrase, my first instinct is to, you know, treat it like the common phrase that it is, not as a site item reference.
