armod, armod, what are your favorite dragon breeds? what colors do you like? do you ever buy accents? do you ever COMMISSION accents? I would make you a customized accent for free, armod. I love you.

My favorite breed... I'm tied between Coatls and Skydancers. I do love all the breeds if I'm being real here (the only thing I DON'T like are male snappers; I wish male PCs were better looking but I plan to have at least a couple), and one of the more versatile breeds I think are spirals... but when I plan out my gen1 projects they're almost all planned as Skydancers. They'd probably mostly be coatls if I had more gems. What can I say, I like fluffy cute things...
I love a lot of colors. My top five are: 1. Maize (gorgeous primary, handsome secondary, 100% gorgeous tert every time) 2. Crimson (Good primary, excellent in seraph, decent tert) 3. Jade (I never know quite how to use it but god it's pretty) 4. Spring (I used to hate this color, then I started pairing it with maize) 5. Goldenrod (my favorite gembond color - it matches the gold apparel more than Gold does).
I think that the color wheel needs more warm colors, particularly orange. I like warm colors best. Despite my top five, I actually love a huge variety of colors... I will totally say that I'm a total weakling for anything that has maize or white belly and warm/neutral colors. Brown dragons with white bellies just slay me and crush any semblance of self control I might have. A ton of the Gen1 dragons I bought have maize or white terts.
I buy accents, absolutely! But I don't have disposable income so gems come from what I earn in my accent shop, which isn't much... a lot of my accent concepts don't get enough interest for me to sell. For the sake of making gems, I've been remaking a bunch of the same accent with just elemental variations... I have to laugh at myself piteously because I feel really cheap and lame doing something like that. I haven't commissioned an accent solely because I don't have the gems... there's a few accents that aren't exactly retired but aren't being printed either and I need them.
If you did a customized accent just for me, anon, I would draw one of your dragons for you.
I like your taste. Though despite loving goldenrod gembond myself I never ended up with any dragons with it. Just out of curiosity (an possibly masochism) which not exactly retired accents are you talking about?
Starfall for male guardians and Illuminated Manuscript... they are just gorgeous and I have two dragons that are just peeerfect for those accents. Starfall especially. I have a guardian with goldenrod tert that I want to put Starfall on... but instead of gembond, I'm actually gonna go for smoke. With that accent, I think it's gonna be drop-dead gorgeous.
Oh, Illuminated Manuscript is one I regret never picking up myself, but at the time I was poor and didn't have and WCs, anyway. Starfall is lovely too, and goldenrod smoke does sound like it would work well with it.
I have a weakness for beautiful accents, my heart yearns to collect them. I have some gorgeous ones hoarded and haven't even gotten dragons to properly wear them...
