I bought 5 Fire Sprites during that festival, but I've slowly sold/given them away over time... none left, now.

I have doubles or more on all the sprites except earth because earth still has the worst looking items.

I am pleased as all hell about a coupla water sprites I picked up for 30kt one time....but that's my only financial success to date, haha

Festival apparel

Man am i the only one that's severely underwhelmed by this year's cycle of fest apparel...Compared to last year anyway.
I dunno,i felt most of the apparel lacked impact compared to last year. There are some exceptions ofcourse but mostly i think last year's apparel outclasses this year by a ton

yeah I agree. this year's apparel was pretty obviously made in mind to be easy to cut and paste, to minimize drawing stuff for each individual breed/gender. it seems like it's gotten better overall throughout the year - the sunguard chest was definitely the worst/wonkiest, but they seem to be putting more effort into stuff like the seashell mantle. shoulder broccolis I think are cut and pasted but they look pretty good on most breeds.

yeah idk, I'm still always excited for the big festival apparel but it definitely seems like they copped out a lot more this year than last. i like the golem and the broccoli better than their 2013/14 counterparts, but I think that's it.

My problem with a lot of this years apparel is it doesn't "interact" with the dragons at all. The Golem, Balloon, and Comet all just plaster themselves over like lame stickers.

The others I dislike because they clash with the first year apparel and putting them on a dragon together results in some terrible layering. Why don't the color palettes match on the Shackles and Collar for fucks sake?

I haven't loved any of the apparel for the festivals I've been around for tbh. It's kind of a bummer, but hopefully it'll get better with the light apparel next month.

I really liked some of this year's apparel, despite how many of them were copypasta-esque. The gauntlet, comet, thorns, and balloon all look cool as hell to me.

I also don't like a whole lot of the 2013 apparel, the only one I'd want more than one of (aside from as an investment) is the Tricktrouper crown. The glowy rune things on the flank are awesome.

think of your three least favourite colours, your least favourite primary/secondary/tert genes, and then slap those onto your least favourite species/gender combo. worst eyes are optional, feel free to instead use the clashiest element possible for maximum terribleness.
