you do realize this is exactly how pyramid schemes work though, right? you start everything up as king of the mountain and first in line, you recruit friends to be at the top of the pile behind you so you get yours faster, they recruit people so they get theirs faster, and it continues downwards forever and ever. but the promise of getting all these people light sprites is totally unrealistic - they're something like 25 mil now. if you had, say, 50 people donating 10k a week to the pot, you'd maybe get that much in a year. but that isn't accounting for the absurd inflation on the things... you'll need more and more donations each time.
i mean, if you're enthusiatic about it and think you can get people on board, then don't let me stop you or anything. flights manage to do the exact same thing with lair expansions, but those work(ish) because they're exposed to a much larger userbase, are on forums much more conducive to the organization of them (pings are insanely useful for this), and even the most expensive lair expansions are exponentially smaller than the cost of a light sprite. no inflation either.
this doesn't have a shot in hell of working if it's exclusive to AR tho, rallying up an anoncomm is like herding cats.
