on the topic of gathering...

do you guys dig during festivals in hopes of grabbing chests, or do you keep gathering where you usually gather, just in the festival element?

i've been digging this whole time, but honestly i get one chest maybe every 3 festivals. not sure if my luck is shit or what, but tbh i'm starting to think maybe i should be using the time to try and scavenge eggs or collect swipp materials if the elements align. idk.

i mean, the chance of getting a chest is low, but it's worth the try and getting food and stuff really isn't hard.

I dig too, with similar results. I joined Oct '14 and I've only gotten one chest that I remember from digging... doesn't stop me from doing it all week though.

ditto, i've already gotten all the egg achievements and i stockpile enough food points that i can just dig the whole festival without my reserves running low

i can't actually remember the last time i dug up a festival chest but i keep trying anyway looool

I've maxed out gathering in every location and don't really have a dire need to gather in one particular place. So during festivals I dig for chests. I've been average 2-3 chests each festival for a while now. It's nice.

I dig all week, and average about one chest every festival. I have good luck with getting currency though so it's all good.
