what I want to know is how asking for dom donations or running a food drive thread is considered to be 'flight sales' but

the 50k give-n-get qualifies as a 'game' and can't be in item sales.

Maybe someone could report it for being in the wrong forum (pretending they didn't know that the mod moved it to where it is now)

It seems like 'flight sales' have a more generous definition of sales than the non-flight specific sales forums. There are lots of giveaway threads in flight sales as well (at least in my flight) and giveaways in dragon sales, for example, get moved to 'raffles.'

This. Until we get a flight area for dom/events/flight support services (like charities), they seem to have decided that anything that involves items or currency exchanging accounts belong on flight sales :/
