I can't say I read every single thread here, honestly.

I think Dracoon is the one who got into it with Tec about fifty years ago? Or was that Monarque? Are they the same person? I can't keep them straight. They're so boring and samey and come up over petty bullshit so often that I can't remember their defining crimes, I'm sorry anon. I am a disappointment to maintaining drama.

As for Snaptrap... I remember some shit about them selling a raffle dragon or something on DR, but I have no idea what they've done currently. I only remember THAT because it blew up because some people got bootybothered about the word "trap" being used.

If it's flight related, I never pay attention. I'm not in their flight and if they're in Plague, Shadow or Light I wouldn't have read it.

Maybe we need a revision or refresher post or course in this shit.

(Also, it's entirely possible that a recent reg newb wouldn't know who they are either.)

I generally remember this list of names of people who I have a bad impression of, but only vaguely why: Rhea, Dracoon, Disease, Tec, etc. I'm not up on the latest about any of them. I just know that there are reasons that make me uncomfortable that I probably read something about here.

I've wondered before if I have anyone I followed when I was a newbie who'd make me look bad to the anons on here, like even someone who has been on the site for a year must know all of the drama related to everyone. If I friended someone who was nice to me during the first week I was on the site and haven't spoken to them since, is that the same thing as being part of their crew? I don't think it is, but the very fact that they are on my friends list could suddenly become an indictment against my character. It's weird.

Same. I actually only learnt a bit more about those people once I started frequenting AR more (DR's alphabet soup pisses me off and I don't even understand why that has to be a thing on an anon tumblr). If the issue doesn't involve me, which I hope never happens, I tend to not keep the details in my mind, only the general impression that those people aren't ones to associate with.

However, I'm not one to turn down friend requests unless they're random, and I could see newbie me, say, striking up a conversation with Rhea without knowing of her penchant for drama. Especially if I was Nature flight, with her being a prominent member there. In fact, I do know a few people in her friends list - it makes me cringe a bit that they're there but at the same time I know it's unrelated. Even if it wasn't, sometimes it's easier to accept a request and never talk to the person than to deny and deal with drama.

I like how FR doesnt tell people when others block them, I think it would be nice if friends lists were private too (or to give us the option to hide). It's not fair to judge people based on their friends but, to some extent, it's unavoidable.

I'm pretty sure I have a couple of friends in Nature who have Rhea on their friends lists, not because they're close to her, but because they're involved in flight things and she's involved in flight things. Seeing someone on someone else's friends list can mean that they're close, but it doesn't necessarily mean anything at all. It's the least important thing to me when it comes to wondering if someone is involved in drama or not.

Okay, so, here's the deets.

Monarque=Gucci. The spat between Gucci and tec was over accents but they've since made up(?) and put it behind them, so I'm not sure if that's worth rehashing. It was dumb, but it led to others mocking tec and may be what led to Rhea beginning to target tec? (Other anons help me with this?)

Now on to the Snaptrap thing. Firstly, you should read this thread for summaries on the tec vs DeadlyInformant thing that ties very heavily into this: http://anonrising.dreamwidth.org/4792.html?thread=17134264#cmt17134264 It may be tl;dr, but it is going to make the rest of this some context without me having to reexplain everything.

Snaptrap switched to Shadow and decided to try and impress everyone by getting DeadlyInformant to introduce a bunch of programs for dom into Shadow. Which wasn't bad. But when DeadlyInformant posted the thing about the flight funds, Snaptrap decided to use that as a chance to take a piss at tec and also demanded that tec post screencaps of tec & DI's discussion of funds use because they thought tec was taking things out of context or something. (Others also decided to be assholes about tec and the other dom leaders [current & past, including Sybok, who DI apparently replaced?]; I'll post a link to deets with that in a minute.) Snaptrap later went into a Skype chat with other people who have hateboners for tec and screens of those chats were "leaked" to Rhea, who made a call out post on tec about them.

During this, Snaptrap friended Rhea on FR and has now friended dracoon (who, as noted above, has a massive hateboner for tec). If there was any chance that it was a coincidence that Snaptrap accepted a friend request from Rhea, this pretty much destroys it. You don't just happen to friend TWO shitstirrers who happen to have hateboners for the person you're trying to force off the dom team, which is why I'm assuming the OP of this part of the wanker thread mentioned it.

Am I remembering incorrectly that there was something about dragon bios with Dracoon too?

You remember correctly. Dracoon's dragons bios used to have a lot of slavery and abuse in them. It's still implied, but the actual abuse mentions were removed by either dracoon or the admins after complaints/reports about it were sent in.

She may still RP it offsite though, since it seems to be a large part of her clan lore.

What's weird is that both dracoon and rhea have done harm to Snaptrap. rhea posted screenshots of that convo that led to us knowing what snaptrap was saying, that snaptrap was the one leaking flight forum screenshots, and dracoon dragged the whole shadow flight on DR.

I don't pay any attention to Shadow's apparently copious amounts of in-Flight bullshit (to an outsider they look like Wank Flight, ngl) so that explains why I missed a second wave of Snaptrap drama!

The others just got muddled somewhere. I feel better knowing that I'm apparently not the only anon that lost track, too.
