Just kidding! Since the attitude in the comm has chilled out a little, I'd like to try another post without a Wanker Thread to see how it goes. The Wanker Thread is still present on the comm, but hidden to you (for now) and will be brought back if any big drama occurs that people feel should be contained. You can still make complaints about things that annoy you on Flight Rising, but let's try and keep the vitriol at a minimum.

Some players like it so they can save up money to spend in October or whatever.
Which of course begs the question of why they don't just shove some in the vault on a regular occasion, but okay.

Some people just work better with a specific time frame/goal in mind. "I'm not going to spend anything from September 1st to October 1st" is just easier for them than "I'm going to save up, for forever, because of reasons".
