As to alerts for brewing....just keep baldy open in one tab? unless you're on mobile but i just wait until i get home at that point. For me it's a bunch of stuff neopets has but my main go to is a GOD DAMN BANK. Yes i know that's what the vault is for but it would be so much better if i could stick money in my vault AND my bank account, where i would earn interest as well. There's literally nothing stopping me from taking money out of my vault whenever i want, but if i had to do a bunch of clicks to to get the the bank and then had to input a pin number, i would genuinely not withdraw a lot. It worked really really well on neopets and i think it could help a lot of people here save their treasure and gems. Also i too am backing the "search features in hoard, etc" person.

Theoretically I would love a bank because "free money!", but I would never want it to happen because giving people interest would make the rich richer (not that that doesn't happen anyway, but no need to make it even easier) and would make inflation awful. I wouldn't mind it if it just made it more difficult to take money out without the interest part as I could see how that might be helpful to some people.

Interest would definitely not make the rich richer, iirc neo's interest was based on the tier of your account, and even the higher tiers interest wasn't so bad that it made the rich richer. And it had zero impact on inflation. But yeah it doesn't have to include interest, i just miss that whole aspect. =P

I can't really fathom a way to have interest that won't make the rich richer. I'm not sure what you mean by "tier" exactly, as I never played neopets, but I can't figure out a way to really make it work. You can't do it by age of account, as just because someone's account is old doesn't mean that they are rich. You can't do it by lair level, because, while a person with an ancient lair could possibly be more well-off than someone with a smaller lair, that isn't necessarily the case if someone only has a page of permas and uses two others for fodder flipping or makes money doing art, they would likely be well-off versus someone with all 100 spots filled with permas who has no way other than fairgrounds to make money. You can't do it by how many dragons someone has either, as it is similar to lair spaces. Mycena Cave does it by increasing the percent of interest you make rapidly at first to encourage some saving but then decreasing the increase percentage until it is basically a flat rate. But even then, people like me who only made money and didn't spend it could easily earn an amount equivalent to a third of the daily treasure cap just by clicking a single button to collect interest. It basically boils down to "if you have a lot of money, interest will make you a lot of money with little effort" and there isn't really a way around it that I can see. Unless, I guess, you just basically fixed the percentages for interest so everyone earned about the same amount no matter how much they put in, in which case, it just seems like a "collect free currency" button. Which would lead to inflation. Maybe I'm missing something? Because I don't know neo's system?

As I said above, though, I would totally be for a more elaborate saving system. Whether it was being able to lock currency behind a wall that took effort to withdraw to help people with impulse spending issues, or creating savings accounts where people could designate where they wanted their money to go towards to help them save toward goals, or anything else like that. I could see how that might benefit some people. And I wouldn't think it would be that difficult to code, but I'm not a coder, so I could be way wrong on that.

Just putting this out there - the 'tiers' on neopets interest was literally based on how much money you had.
The lowest was 0 nps which gave 4.5% yearly interest, while the highest tier was when you had 10m in the bank at once, which had 12.5% interest. Dipping below the required amount doesn't drop you a tier either, you need to manually change tiers.

At around 10m in the bank at the highest tier (which I'm assuming isn't even considered wealthy) you're getting around 3.5k every day from literally just the click of the button. Personally I think this system does contribute to inflation overall, and does make the rich richer but if we were talking specifically neopets there were way bigger offenders.
