What's the best place to gather for profit outside of festivals?
hunting in plague/wind/ice are all good - you have a chance at a cobra, a ferret/ermine, and in plague/wind, a dappled dunhoof
is there anything wrong about copy/pasting a pinglist, but deleting people you dont want to ping? some people on my mumble got upset about it telling me i wasnt being fair
but I dont see anything wrong with not pinging said people, because they've done bad things to me in the past and I'd rather not interact with them or sell them items/dragons

I'm not one for huge forum interaction so I'm not the best person to answer but I ABSOLUTELY think you leave out whoever you need/want to leave out.

I sometime really wish we could write up some guidelines for what to post/not to post in flight forums. Things like:
1. No begging for items
2. Post dragons for sale in Flight Sales, even if your dragons are free. Posting it as a rant like, "I have zero lair space but I don't wanna exult ;-;" still counts.
2. No multiple small talk threads. This is not your tumblr/wordpress/myspace. Use the bloody Flight Skype. That's what it's there for.
3. Go to Dragon Share if you want to show off your shit. I sure you can find others who care about your SpeckFreckCrack dragons.
I'm just ranting and being a hypocrite for this but w/e.

how do you decide when to sell retired items? every time i think about selling any of mine, the knowledge that they'll be worth even more in the future makes me want to keep holding onto them instead. at this rate i'm doomed to end up with a huge hoard of random shit that i don't care about but refuse to ever sell anyway

I'm looking to sell a bunch of old dragons, would you recommend doing auctions for each individual one, or one giant auction? I'd hate to clog up dragons for sale with 10+ threads, but one big auction seems like it might turn people off.
tbh when I see the mass auctions I get kind of TL:DR near the middle and end up not looking at all of the dragons available :\ Maybe single auctions, but don't post them all at once?

(Anonymous) 2015-05-16 07:24 pm (UTC)(link)i'd say no, because most old dragon collectors don't look at age they look at how many digits the dragon's id number has. that being said, you could probably find some beginning collectors who like the novelty of older dragons (age-wise) but can't otherwise afford 6-digits to sell to and make a small profit.

They know their site needs fixing. After all, the industry standards for professional made games is 1 bug for every 100 lines of a code upon release. The staff know they release buggy code, but they cannot find bugs without help of more users. And the more users there are, there is a higher potential that at least one user will stumble upon a bug that could be overlooked.
So like with NotN, they are probably having more reg windows as we get closer to their 2nd anniversary, because they are planning something big, and need to know if the site can handle a massive overload of people.

people who complain about FR in general understand precisely dick about what's involved in running a site like FR.
like certain things were selling at a decent price get tanked by one player or another undercutting by like 4-6k and often going below mp price (with discount) and then they are followed by others who drop it even further. It's not like the items were not selling at the price they were at a 2-5k above mp price. Most of these people were selling for the full 7 days time too which just makes it easier for more and more people to undercut. I swear half my stuff sells right before it expires because more people see them that way. Wish people understood that the longer auction time doesn't give their stuff more of a chance to sell and actually does the opposite.

Is your problem that you keep spending it? Try putting it in your vault and forgetting it exists, I guess. Leave a bit out for small impulse purchases.

I don't understand exactly what is going on or when it is happening. More detail other then bringing you to the same page would be nice.
In some ways my flight is really convenient and I like being there, but I don't post on the forums often and the eyes really don't look good with most dragons I breed. This isn't a "help me pick" comment it's just me griping about it because I want to change but not enough to make up my mind about where I'm going.
Promise to yourself you won't buy anymore dragons/breeding pairs... then immediately see something you can't resist?
