You can still make complaints about things that annoy you on Flight Rising, but let's try and keep the vitriol at a minimum.

Omfg, I didn't even think about making accents for the new breed until now. Guess I'll be busy for a while...although I highly doubt any accents for the breed will sell until more people get them.

I'm making an accent for when I get a scroll and others are doing the same. There's a bunch of people taking payment for skins/accents already.

I love the slight transparency sneaks have on underbelly and glimmer, and how it blends with the rink at the throat that's part of skink especially. I hope neat little touches like that are a feature on later breeds! It's a good trend!

a bogsneak success story

bought an egg off the AH for 1.5 mil on a whim (I'm still waiting on a scroll to finish brewing so I didn't have one yet)
immediately realized it was a bad idea, but hatched anyway
resulting derg had nice colors but didn't quite fit my lair, so I put it up for 1900 gems
not only did it sell within an hour, the new owner has already triple-gened it, applied a scroll of maturity, and gave it a bunch of apparel! nice to see it went to a good home :)

The Baldwin genes haven't really crashed in prices and it's been a while. Eggs might get 200g and scrolls 500g? It's like trying to guess how many jellybeans are in a jar. No matter what happens there'll still be profit because most of the stuff is brewed for next to nothing minus the cost of junk materials and treasure fee.

There was a huge difference in prices of eggs/scrolls for treasure and gems so people have been buying the treasure ones to flip for gems. I made like 10k gems flipping earlier but now the ratio is 1:820 or something so idk if there's much profit in it anymore

Holy shit. I hatched my only bogsnek egg and out popped an abyss/cobalt/stonewash girl with wind eyes. I usually have the worst luck ever when hatching eggs, but she's so pretty!

Now I just need to decide whether to keep her or try to sell her.

If you want something to sell you pick the lowest AH price. The higher ones don't matter the slightest. No one is going to buy them if they have a cheaper option.

Bogsneak irishim

I know we just had a thread about how no one is ever the only one to feel a certain way, but I haven't seen anything about this and was wondering if I was just overreacting. Does anyone else have an issue with iridescent and shimmer (especially shimmer) on bogsneaks? I know they are hand colored and thus will look different on every breed, but they look a lot brighter and less nuanced to me on bogsneaks.

Like look at this imp...

He has stonewash shimmer, and I love the color variation across his wings.
This is him as a bogsneak with nothing else changed...

The iridescent is different, but it is the shimmer that bothers me. How is that a blue shade?

I saw this on a number of dragons I was scrying but I haven't heard anyone else mention it. Does it bother anyone else? I'm sure I'm not alone, so I was hoping others also felt this way and could commiserate with me.

yeah, I noticed this too. it's almost like the gradient's a lot weaker or maybe not in use? the imp's wings clearly go from a purplish blue to a greenish blue whereas the bog's are solid greenish.

I have another scroll brewing let's see if I can make that at least 6k gems before the market tanks
