You can still make complaints about things that annoy you on Flight Rising, but let's try and keep the vitriol at a minimum.

I have a couple gen1s that I hatched around color wheel time, and now I can't decide how best to gene them. I'd love any second opinions! I'll be linking directly to previews in the dragon's profile since I don't have access to my computer right now.

chartreuse/ginger/green f earth noc

my main debate here is what primary sets her off best! i love the pale green accent color that hex brings out and the way it mottles her face, but skink is accented with a reddish-brown color that echoes her ginger secondary, and i can't decide what looks better. i also think contour looks pretty good with skink. thoughts?

UMMM, i was neutral to this hatch when new colors first came out, but now i'm kind of in love and i'm having such a hard time deciding what gene combo is best on her. every option just looks so good to me. help...

Noc: definitely giraffe! I love how the pale markings on the body match the pale belly. Spines and contour both work about equally well. Gir/Spin/spin would probably be how I'd gene her, but you'd have to re-do the wings.

Pearlcatcher: 1 or 2 is best. It's super coherent, the colours complement each other beautifully. The Saturn on the others is a bit too busy. Looking at your lair I think scry 1 would fit in best, since you have quite a lot of cibrant dragons. And it's cheaper, too!

So I scavenged this Fire Egg on the last day of Flameforger's and hatched a Metals/Overcast/Radioactive ♂ dragon, I know it's probably an ugly combination but I like Metals too much to just exalt the little bugger. Any combinations that might work with him? I need to play coliseum again to earn for gene projects anyway

What is the current gem conversion rate? I am about ready to sell a few thousand gems I have been collecting for the better part of a month and wanted to know what to list them at. When I checked the forums the only one I saw was for 1,100 : 1.

It varies i think. Some are selling for 950, one is selling for 990 right now and doing pretty good business. If you want to try going high, do it. Worst that happens is nobody bites and you have to lower it a little.

nonnies who love spirals, what kind of accents are you wanting for them? i am consistently astonished by the lack of pretty spiral accents so i'm wanting to try making them myself. unfortunately i don't really know where to start lol. so i'd love to gather ideas for what people would be interested in seeing for their noodles!

I've been trying to find enjoyment on FR like I used to. I can't find it anymore. It's boring and I feel really listless. I can level a 25 in a week, I get regular Egg drops that I sell and I have great Gen1's with gem genes and custom accents. I have gotten art and the game just feels really boring.

I like the community and the sites general art. I love the dragon breeds but I feel like I have done everything except get the KS items. There are no more challenges.

Is anyone else feeling like this? Like FR has gotten really stale? There is nothing new.

So does anyone have any other sites they play on or have any feelings to share?

If you do, can you post it here? I bored too. I've done all the project, gotten all the sprites. There just isn't a challenge in the game.

I need a new game or FR needs to kick it back up to where it should be.

i know personally i stopped playing because there was nothing to do. it seems like a good place if all you want to do is make overlays or 'painties' or whatever and roleplay but not much else

Is it rude/a social faux pas to privately contact the winners of a limited skin to tell them you'd like to buy it if they ever decide to sell at some point in the future? I wouldn't tell them this part out of fear of guilt tripping (I don't want to do that!), but there was a limited accent run for a unique accent that very strongly reminded me of a friend of mine who died and unfortunately I didn't manage to get a copy and it's retired now.

I'm almost tempted to risk asking them even if it WOULD be rude, and offer to pay several times what they paid for it or just to be notified if they ever want to sell. I'm not into the accent collecting scene and don't know if that's the kind of thing that would get me dragged, though.

i've had two people ping me and the other folks who got a copy of a limited accent to threads asking if someone would be willing to trade, so... i would find it nicer if someone just pm'd me. i know i wouldn't mind. tho i would leave out the part about it reminding you of a friend who died because that definitely could seem guilt trippy.
